We got back Saturday night from an amazing vacation to Disney World with my whole family. Our magical time truly came to an end when I woke up at 2am with chest pain and by 4 we were headed to the ER. Hubby dropped me off, as is our system these days since there is no way we are dragging our three precious kiddos around the hospital for hours whenever this happens. My bloodwork was normal this time so once my pain was under control they sent me on my way. Hubby was scheduled to leave at 10 that morning for a week of tdy. Thankfully he got his flight pushed back to Monday morning. My parents were on their drive back home from Florida and changed course to come and stay with me and the boys for the week. I am so grateful for their willingness to drive all that way and take the time out of their lives to help me out this week. I am feeling ok, but just having the peace of mind that I'm not alone if it were to happen again has been a tremendous blessing. This was the 2nd time in a month, which is the closest together two attacks have ever been. :( I see a new GI doctor down here next week so hopefully we can get a plan of action together for treatment options.
