Here are some more pictures from our day yesterday! I may have withheld the whole truth from C about when Daddy would be home. So, he wasn't expecting him to pick him up from school. When he looked up and saw him he just stopped in his tracks and his eyes got so big. I managed to capture it on camera!
I LOVE this next picture. Little stinker!
I don't have many pics of C! He is usually just a blur! And if he slows down at all it's because he's found a new friend to play with. This time he hit it off with all the girls. :) Even leaving one to play with another saying "It's ok, I'll be back in less than ten minutes. Ok? I'll come back and play with you then."
After the playground we took a little stroll through town on our way to our final destination (and really the whole reason for our visit). The boys had fun making wishes and tossing pennies into this fountain.
And at last...baby's first Georgetown cupcake! I can't believe that's all he ate of it! We will teach you our ways little one. ;)
I am glad to get back to blogging. I've been slacking on it lately for many reasons. One was that I couldn't figure out the problem with blogger and was having a hard time posting. I've also had a lot going on. Some things just physical with my ankle and being busy caring for the boys. And some things going on that I am still working my way through, processing, figuring out. I am so, so relieved to have my husband home. It is truly an answer to prayer! But, I think we will be dealing with the effects of his absence for some time to come. The past few months have been a hard season in our lives (mine and the boys) and to not have our husband/daddy around to ease the burden of some of the tough stuff that's been going on has taken it's toll. Praying for much healing that needs to take place in all our hearts.
