My surgery is today so I don't have time for too many words this morning. Trying to wrap up a few last minute household chores so hubby can start fresh later today when he takes on the task of being Mr. Mom for the next six weeks. Six weeks without putting any pressure on my foot!? I still don't know how that's going to work...especially since he's only going to be home for the first four weeks. Lil' peanut might be spending some time in Daddy's office. Ha!
With yesterday being my last full day of walking we decided to take advantage of it. Picking apples is on our fall bucket list so we headed to Baugher's Orchard. The kids had a great time (I know lil' peanut looks like he didn't, but he did! He was pretty shy with all the new surroundings, but he loved the tractors. That is definitely a big difference between my two boys. C is jump in and go and his little brother likes to really size up a situation before warming up to it) It was an added bonus that Nana and Papa are in town and were able to enjoy the day with us.
When we got home I used some of our fresh apples to check another thing off our list. Home made apple pie! Yum!
