Of course I had to get them new matching pj's for Christmas Eve! We baked our annual Christmas Eve cookies together. I wasn't sure how it would go with lil' peanut in the mix this year. And honestly, I was a little sad that it wasn't going to be just me and C again. It's hard to change a tradition up after 6 years of doing it the same way. But, you know what? It was perfect. And I was so happy that my new little man was sitting there at the counter, driving his car through cookie dough and licking powdered sugar off his fingers. He nodded his head up and down while I told him about last Christmas and how we were missing him and that we were so glad he was home this year. I feel like I haven't been on my A game this holiday season with everything going on with my ankle. I just had my second surgery a week ago and have been feeling pretty blah the past few days. But, even though I am struggling to keep up with them...I am beyond blessed to have both of my boys home with me this Christmas!
