Lights on the Bay

Lights on the Bay has become Christmas tradition for us.  I'll miss it next year, but hopefully we can find a new drive-thru display in our new location.  We were really excited to take lil' peanut this year.  He has been flipping out over the lights and decorations we see in our neighborhood.  He didn't disappoint.  He spent a lot of time hollering "whoah!"  We think his favorite was the Santa driving a car.  He shouted "car, car, car" when we passed it.  (C's favorite was the sea serpent!)  If you'll remember, last year at Lights on the Bay was when C revealed the truth about Santa Claus. :)  This year as we drove up, Santa greeted us.  C gladly accepted his candy cane and then said "You're not real."  Yeesh!  We had a little talk about how it can be fun to pretend (and that it's a Mommy and Daddy's job to tell their kids the truth about Santa when they think they are ready...not his!  Don't want him to be that kid).  We drove through twice and both the boys seemed to really enjoy it.
