Last night we headed to Longview Lake's Christmas in the Park light display. We left around 5 since I'd heard the wait to get in could be super long. I actually had friends tell me they turned around and left one year! But, with it being a week night we were hopeful it wouldn't be too bad.
Our little man getting tired...tired of waiting! Not for the Christmas lights...but for the traffic to clear up on I-435. There must've been an accident...we didn't see any signs of it by the time we finally got moving, but a police car and a tow truck both passed by on the shoulder during our wait.
Thank goodness we were prepared!
Excitement! We made it, finally! And only waited about 10 minutes inside the campround before we got to the light show!
C got to ride in Mommy's lap. This is probably the only moment he spent without his head out the window.
I thought this little ferris wheel was so cute!
They had a lot of neat displays...the train was a favorite, of course...along with the big cloud that blew snowflakes...which I don't have a picture of, but trust me, it was cool.
