Bass Pro Edition

C and his cousin B are both sleeping...enjoying what is sure to be a long afternoon nap.  Today we met up with friends at the Bass Pro Shop to check out their Santa's Wonderland.  Santa wasn't there, but that didn't stop them from having fun.  C spent all but 5 minutes glued in front of the model train as he watched it go 'round and 'round.  And what did B enjoy more than anything else?

Yep, this game.  She sat for a long time taking the pegs out of the board and putting them back in.  After all of our morning fun, we headed to Fritz's Railroad Restaurant in Shawnee.  C has been to the one in Crown Center once before, but as far as I know this was B's first time.  She loved it.  They both loved it!  All six kids loved it (I'm just assuming on the part of baby Charlie here since he did not join the chorus of choo-choo sounds or gaping mouths that the other kiddos had going on).  If you have little ones and live in the area I would recommend checking this place out.  It's not the best food you'll ever have but if your child is a train lover, then the experience is definitely worth it!
