Just before school let out for holiday break, we got to go to C's music program. Lil' peanut actually made it through the whole thing. The difference a year makes. At C's kindergarten music program, hubby had to take him out before it even started!

They had pre-k through 2nd grade up there and each grade just took turns singing their songs. I had a hard time telling which song was the first one for the first graders because C hardly sang a word of it. He'd been singing in the car for the past few weeks, so I know he knew the words but he must have gotten stage fright.
It was either a case of stage fright or being distracted by his santa puppet. ;) It was a Christmas around the world theme and first grade was Italy. So, their 2nd song had an Italian flair to it and C was cracking me up. He was doing a little opera singer impersonation complete with hand gestures.
Baby enjoyed the music...put him right to sleep. :)
They had cookies for the kids afterwards but the line was so long! We started back toward the car and told C we would do something better. When he asked what we said "You tell us." "Seriously?" he replied. He was so excited to be in charge of the plan for our special treat on his big night. He chose frozen yogurt at Menchie's and got the biggest bowl of the stuff he's ever had (he can thank a certain little brother for providing some distraction while he filled up) :)
