Thinking of you

Our boy's special day did not pass without us acknowledging some very special people.  Two other women with whom I share the title, Mom.  I prayed that the Lord would surround Keonwoo's first mom and his foster mom with peace on his birthday.  I wrote down my words because I knew I would cry if I tried to wing it.  I actually cried anyway.  This adoption thing comes with some big emotions...the joy and the sadness overwhelm me at times. 

This is a tradition we will continue.  I have two special candle holders back at home that I got while in Korea...so next year I'll use those.  (I forgot them in my frantic packing!)  And we will maybe use the same words each year as well.  I want lil' peanut to grow up knowing how much he was loved, even before he joined our family.  If the number of views my blog gets each day from South Korea is any indication...he was very well loved indeed.
