My parents have this super shady swing set out back. It was a rule that the kids couldn't swing together unless Papa was holding the thing down to the ground!
I got to meet my dear friend's new little girl while I was in town. Little Emma is so precious!
Hanging out with some of my (and C's) favorite ladies. His love for Lizzy is still going strong even after two years of living far away from her. We have conversations about her every so often. The latest of which was him asking if she would already be married by the time he was all grown up. Ha!
He convinced Hannah to join him on the trampoline and look what she taught him! I have a video of this that I'll have to try and load later. A little scary for this mama! :)
I love these pictures. I can't believe that is my little Hannah all grown up with my own child (who is only about three years younger than I was when I started "babysitting" Hannah, by the way!) I used to ride my bike down to her house and play with her while her mom did housework then she would pay me with a candy bar. I didn't mind at all! I loved that little girl! Still do. :) She and Liz are the little sisters I never had. Watching them with C is so sweet. He just adores them...and I think they are pretty fond of him too.
My girls!
Enjoying the fire pit on our last night.
Don't my brother and I look alike in this picture? It's our big noses, I think. ;)
Ha! She's still doing it! Growing up it became a thing we could count on...at almost every meal my mom would drop something on her shirt and then exclaim "Oh man!" while she wiped at the stain with a napkin. She still says the same thing when it happens! And it brings me right back to my childhood. ;)
Oh boy! This is the last picture I took in KS...isn't it awesome?! What a crew!
And what a trip! We had a wonderful time. I lost count of how many people told me how excited they were that the next time they see me I will have two little boys running around. I can't wait.
