Mom and Pops

My parents were in town quite awhile ago and I'm just now posting the pictures!  I've got to get all caught up.  Hubby leaves in 3 days and I know he'll be on my case about getting new pictures on the blog. :) 

You know I put my dad to work planting flowers!  He and I spent a ridiculous amount of time browsing the options in the garden center while everyone else tested out the patio furniture.

Hubby and I went on a real date!

Hubby got selected for promotion that day so we were celebrating.  We went to the Melting Pot!  We'd never been before and wanted to see if it lived up to it's hype.

It was yummy...but it was expensive!  That's probably why we've never been. ;)  You know what is worth going back for though?  This...

Our daffodils came up again this year! 

Sadly, all of those flowers have bloomed and died. :(  But, I caught the gardening bug again a few days ago and did some more work...pictures to come.
