I am always so happy to get new pictures of our lil' peanut. Pictures are all we've gotten the last several months, and I have been just fine with that! :) But, it's always great to get an actual progress report!! I love reading about what he's doing and learning little things about his life and personality. So, here's the latest. The following were boxes checked under the developmental milestones for age 19-24 months.
- walks well, almost runs
- walks up and down stairs with one hand held
- holds crayon with thumb and fingers
- turns pages one at a time
- understands most noun objects
- helps put things away
- imitates doing housework and other realistic activities
- defends possessions (I laughed out loud at this one! It's official, he's a toddler) :)
Here's some handwritten information about his daily routines...
He drinks 240cc of formula twice per day-once in the morning and once in the evening
He eats steamed rice, fruit, meat regular milk, soy milk, fruit
He is in the process of being potty trained, but if he is sat on the toilet, he does not have a bowel movement (what 19 month old does?! Maybe America is just behind the curve on this whole potty training thing) ;)
He naps once per day. He sleeps at night from 10 pm to 7 am
And here are the extra written remarks...
He tends to play well and actively, but has a personality with a lot of caution/fear
He often looks at the book with recorded voices that the parents sent.
