When we checked in at our hotel we got a schedule of the week's activities. How fun! They had a lot of fun activities planned for the kids on Easter. We hadn't done an egg hunt this year, so we were all glad to see that the hotel was having one. After the egg hunt, we went to a pancake joint and had a delicious brunch! Then it was pool time and we spent the rest of the afternoon at the living museum. We rented a movie from the little hotel marketplace and watched it before bed time. Oh, and we fed C a lunchable and then after he was in bed hubby went and got us takeout. :) It was a really great day!
We got to the egg hunt early so we spent some time in the little game room.
Saying hello to the Easter bunny (which C pointed out was "a girl inside there because I saw her necklace peeking out that hole in the back.") ;)Yuckin' it up with the bunny.
Ready to fill that basket!
He was on a mission to find the golden egg. He picked up all the yellow ones he could find because he didn't see any actual gold eggs. Makes sense. :) The golden egg, we found out later, was actually the color gold.
At the Virginia Living Museum. We went there last time and had a lot of fun. We had a great time on this trip as well.
This was after he asked how many fingers he could use to touch the crab. The guy told him "as many as you want" which C obviously thought was awesome. :)
Oh yes, I crawled in there, with C! Getting out was a bit of a problem...the pictures my husband took of that will not be making the blog. There were two owls in there and they were freaking out watching C's stuffed owl! We thought any minute they were going to crash right into the glass trying to get to it!
Dissecting a frog. :)

I love the owl tucked into C's shirt riding on his back. And the pictures of you guys jumping in the air actually look realistic. :)
