Two years Home!

Two years ago today all the waiting was over and our precious Keonwoo was placed in our arms forever. Our journey of getting to know each other is still ongoing, but man do I love this child.  His quirky sense of humor, his helpful nature, his graciousness, his sass!  Oh my word the sass!  His gorgeous brown eyes and those dimples of his.  He can, in the same day, drive me to the brink of pulling my hair out with his iron will and charm my socks clear off with that million dollar smile and quick wit.  We are beyond blessed to be this little guy's forever family.

Make Something Monday

As the last few weeks of school went by I found myself both looking forward to and dreading summer vacation.  I miss C while he's at school and I am really excited to have him home all day every day for two months!  On the other hand, having him home means many more opportunities for conflict between he and lil' peanut.  (That's my positive way of saying they fight all the freaking time!) ;)  So, I thought that having at least something to do each day would help things run a little smoother.  Make something Monday, Take a Trip Tuesday, Wild and Wordy Wednesday (which I considered changing to wiped out Wednesday after take a trip Tuesday was over!) Think of others Thursday, and Free for all Friday.  Just a fun little way to add a little structure to our days.  Our first make something Monday....
"Where did you get this idea mom?"  "From the internet."  "I knew it!  I knew you couldn't think of this all by yourself."  Well then.  I'll have you know child, the colorful ice cube boats were not included in the 30 cheap ways to have fun this summer article I read...I added those myself!

Poppers

Nana brought some of those little popper fireworks.  They started by throwing them on the ground.  Then moved on to throwing them at the side of the house.  And they ended with throwing them at the kitchen window while Papa danced around like a looney on the other side pretending to be hit.  What a good Papa!  The boys thought it was hilarious. :)

Summer Fun Begins!

C's last day of school was a half day, so after I went to his little class celebration he and I met Nana and Papa (who were in town) and the little boys at the splash park to kick off our summer fun.  In sticking with their usual ways, C jumped right in and lil' peanut took about twenty minutes to warm up to the whole idea.  They both had so much fun!  And baby was quite content to just sit back and watch all the action.

Last day of 1st grade

Hard to believe another school year is already gone!  So proud of my not-so-little-anymore man.  I plan to write updates on each of my little men soon but wanted to get these pictures of C's last day of first grade up!

I would not have said he had a baby face when he started first grade.  But, oh my word!  Look at that baby face!!!

Quality Time

My folks have been in town this past week so I've been able to enjoy some rare one-on-one time with all of my boys.  Such a treat!  Sometimes I feel like I spend all day everyday just playing referee so it's refreshing to get them alone and be reminded how awesome these kids truly are.
