Touch-a-truck

I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting much from our small town's touch-a-truck event.  But, they had a bunch of great "mighty machines" and vehicles to climb around on.  We also got to ride the carousel next door for free.  My folks came along too and it was a fun little outing.  Hubby reported in to his new job yesterday so we might not be going on adventures as often with Daddy back to work.  It's always hard for everyone when we get used to having him around all the time and then "real life" starts again.  I'm hoping to have lots of fun with my boys this summer as TWO of them will be going to school in the fall.  C will be in 3rd grade and lil' peanut is going to half-day preschool!

Children's Day at the zoo

Well, we're officially midwesterners again.  We're in our third week here and feeling quite settled in.  Our computer situation is still not ideal for blogging which is why I've been so quiet since we moved.  I'll have to write about our move and new home soon, but for now I just want to get some pictures up.  I hate going too long without posting since we have a very special lady half way across the world that still checks in here.

Tuesday was the Korean holiday, Children's Day.  We celebrated our little loves by taking them to the zoo for the day.  The weather was perfect and it was just a wonderful day together.  This was our first zoo trip where pumpkin baby has actually shown an interest in any of the animals!  He loved watching the penguins and the bird show.  He kept pointing and saying "whoah!"  Lil' peanut's favorite part was the train.  And the tram. :)  And C just seemed to enjoy everything.  I'm glad he's still not "too cool" for family trips to the zoo.

My handsome big kid!

Squee!  His little arm wrapped around my neck...he held on the entire time.  Precious!

Having fun!

Love these three little men!

Lil' peanut said several times that it was "the best day ever!" Love his enthusiasm for life.  And I agree, the day was pretty great.
