Well, we made it through hurricane Sandy unscathed. We were definitely expecting to lose power, but we never did. Thankful it wasn't as bad as expected in our area, but also thinking of those that were greatly impacted.

C was out of school Monday and Tuesday. Daddy did a good job keeping the boys entertained since I'm not much help not being able to walk. My bedroom was the scene for many a nerf gun battle while we waited out the storm. We also had a Toy Story movie marathon. And after he made a trip to the garage to look for yarn, C created a new superhero when he returned with a bag of stuffing instead.

They ran around like this for a long time. It was quite entertaining! C is back in school today and looking forward to trick or treating tonight. I'm pretty sure lil' peanut is going to be terrified, so he may not last long. I will try my best to get some good pictures of them in their costumes. It's a challenge when I can't chase after them!

Family of Four

I do like how these turned out (despite the fact that lil' peanut looks miserable in most of them!) Like I said earlier, he warmed up to our photographer when we were walking to our car to leave. Maybe next time I should pay her extra just to play with the kids for twenty minutes before she pulls her camera out. Ha!
