In-law Vacay 2015

My in-laws usually host a summer vacation.  We haven't been able to go the past couple of years, but we made it up to Lake Michigan with everyone (the grandparents and hubby's sister and her family) this past weekend.  We had a really nice time being together and making memories.  We were all so happy to be back on a beach!  The water was cold!  But, that didn't stop my boys from getting wet and having a blast.  All three of them loved the beach.  I have more pictures from the trip, but this post is dedicated to all our beachy photos. :)

These two jumped right in our first night there.

He's a little goofball usually, but this face....boy is he handsome!

This picture is my new screen saver.  I am in love with it.  These two, playing together, with that much joy on both their faces...it's rare and precious and I want to look at it every day!

One of my favorite moments...having coffee together on a chilly morning at the beach.

Cousin Camping Trip

Many months ago hubby started planning a 4th of July campout.  His idea grew and expanded to include not just his own little campers, but two uncles, two cousins and one Papa. :)  So for the past 4 nights, the seven of them have been at a state park and us wives have been mostly kept in the dark.  Supposedly there was no cell phone service, but I think it may have been more so due to the fact that "what happens at camping stays at camping."  Haha.  I finally got to see a few pictures hubby posted on fb this morning after they left to come home.

Whatever they are doing in that puddle must have been pretty great since some random kid decided to join them.

Fishing!  Last update I got no one had caught anything yet.

I love this one.  I always say, you can't keep little boys out of puddles so why even try!
They'll be home this evening and I can't wait to see the rest of their pictures and hear the boys describe their adventures.

Water guns

Hubby and the big boys are camping all weekend.  I can't wait to see all the pictures and hear about their adventures when they get back home!  For now, I'm enjoying some one-on-one time with my silly little pumpkin baby.  Boy is he soaking up all the attention too. :)  Here are a few pictures from the boys' water gun game the other day.

Summertime

Playing puppies...

These pictures crack me up.  Is that youngest child of mine not just the epitome of the "baby of the family."  I've heard that youngest children like to be in the limelight.

My handsome crew!

Another adventure

We woke up to another gloomy day this morning.  We went for donuts.  A day late since apparently yesterday was national donut day.  Hubs had a conference call so the boys and I hung out upstairs playing legos until that was over.  Then we headed out to a new museum.  It was small, C was a little disappointed about that, but it was still a lot of fun.  They have a dinosaur exhibit right now and a really neat discovery room.  I think it will be a great rainy day activity, especially for me to take the littles to once C is back in school.

C and Daddy put this magnetic praying mantis together.

Lil' peanut loved digging for fossils.  He probably could have kept at it all afternoon.

A hissing cockroach!  I cannot believe that out of all my kids this guy was brave enough to hold it!  He surprises me sometimes, this little man.

Baby went as far as touching it and C's response was "Um, no."  Now, that is a kid I have something in common with. ;)

A common sight

I finally have a working computer again so I should be able to post more often....at least when these three aren't keeping me busy.  As you can see, they are thoroughly enjoying summer break.  Pajamas always acceptable and shirts rarely required. This is such a regular sight it doesn't phase me at all but I do sometimes wonder what the neighbors think. :)
