My baby lost his first baby tooth tonight! A bittersweet moment. One minute he's taking his first step and the next he's losing his first tooth. Sigh. We just can't stop them from growing up, huh?
He was pretty excited about it! It's been loose for probably a month now. He didn't want any part of us pulling it out even though the last few days it's been hanging on by a thread. It came out tonight while he was getting his teeth brushed (I'm pretty sure hubby gave it an extra little nudge). He came into my room with his hand behind his back and a little grin on his face. Then he told me all about it.
We were just at the dentist last week and they gave him a fun little tooth-shaped keychain that he has just been waiting to put his tooth inside. It won't be long before that hole gets even bigger. His other front tooth on the bottom has been loose for awhile too!
Now to decide what the tooth fairy is leaving behind. :)
